Fanelli & Co.
is an owner-operated company run by Bristol,
Rhode Island based husband and wife team Victoria Fanelli and Tim
Reed. We are committed to designing and creating fresh unique styles
using high quality components at fair prices thereby
providing a great value in the marketplace.
Hence our motto - "...it just
looks expensive!"
We believe in and stand
behind the products we make and sell.
Victoria
began painting when she was about four years old and always knew her
life would be in the arts. During her years in art school, she
expanded her studies to include weaving, printmaking, photography,
pottery and sculpture until she finally fell in love with
metalsmithing and jewelry. She seized opportunities to study in
Rome, London and Scotland. After graduation from Tyler School of
Fine Arts in Philadelphia, armed with a BFA she moved to New York
City and began a 15 year journey through the world of fashion
jewelry. She designed for the couture houses of Karl Lagerfeld and
Fendi, then for the more accessible brands of Anne Klein, Kenneth
Cole, DKNY, J.Jill, JC Penney, Lane Bryant and The Limited!!
Ultimately
though, she knew that it had to be her own name on the label
someday. Her career involved much travel to dusty far away places,
and during these journeys she learned the value of a lovely pair of
earrings and a good bar of soap. Her love and obsession with
quality products and her limited funds fueled the idea of an
affordable lifestyle brand.
And so, Fanelli & Co. was born.
